Hong Kong award-winning ceramic, kintsugi artist and collector
Founder and Director of Touch Ceramics and Gallery
Touch Ceramics was founded in 2016 by award-winning ceramic, kintsugi artist and collector Enders Wong. In June 2018, Touch Ceramics established the first on-site gallery in Taikwun, a centre for Heritage and Arts in Central Hong Kong. Aiming to bring in contemporary ceramic art and culture in the gallery.
In November 2020, Touch targets to promote local contemporary art and has expanded to a second art space in Tai Kwun. Our mission is to present established and emerging local artists in this unique and historical place in Hong Kong, bringing in new perspectives to the modern world.
On the other hand, we have also invited artists in Europe, Japan and Taiwan to exhibit their artwork with us. We believed that showing audiences different aesthetics, understanding and experiences of the arts world-widely would boost our aim in promoting local artists.
In the near future, Enders hopes to create a platform for local artists to showcase their work in Touch Ceramics and Gallery, intended to explore the possibilities and dynamics to connect with everyone through arts, and occupy an important position in the art market.
