Rachel Cheung earned her Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) degree from RMIT University Melbourne City Campus in 2001, followed by Masters degrees in glass art from The University of Sunderland in 2004 and in art from Middlesex University London in 2009. She received the Hong Kong Art Biennial Exhibition Prize in 2001 and the Artist Award of “Artists in the Neighbourhood Scheme II” in 2002. In 2010, she founded Unit Gallery and also her studio. Currently, she serves as the coordinator and lecturer for the Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) program, jointly offered by Hong Kong Art School and RMIT. Her works are collected by Hong Kong Museum of Art, Hong Kong Heritage Museum, and New Taipei City Yingge Ceramics Museum.
