Silvia Granata

Silvia was born in Cesena, Italy. Despite her interest in arts and architecture, she decided to take up a career in economics because of her family business and she graduated in Business Studies at Hull University, UK.

After a short time spent in France she went back to Italy and settled down in the countryside in Romagna, where she experimented various artistic expressions until 2007 when she got to ceramics as a self taught person. She deepened her knowledge of various techniques such as raku, smoke firing and porcelain in recent years.

Silvia’s works has been exhibited in many national and international venues and are part of private and public collections in Italy and abroad.
