Touch Ceramics is honoured to collaborate with the world-renowned sculptor Toru Kurokawa once again for his second solo exhibition in Hong Kong.
Traditional Japanese philosophy suggests that harmony could be achieved through human-nature coexistence. The sky has been a source of inspiration, a symbol of profound truth, and a door to express emotions. For over a decade, Kurokawa Toru has longed to express his emotions of dancing with nature through art, to evoke human beings' desire to return to their roots in the quiet wilderness of the universe. He positions himself in the countryside, surrounded by plants and rocks, while immersing himself in the study of mathematics and physics. This rich living experience allows him to pick up the eternal and pure beauty in the mysterious natural world.
Toru has meticulously prepared 100 brand-new, exquisite sculptures for this exhibition. Together, let's experience and witness the essence of his entire decade of art journey.
