ARTISTS / Leung Pui Yi
Leung Pui Yi (b. 1996) graduated from Fine Arts of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Specialising in Gong bi and painting, the artist seeks the possibilities within contemporary paintings by utilising long-established expertise with contemporary expressions, thus connecting her own sentiments and occurrences perceived from her everyday life. The artist attempts to convey the relationship between art and the ego through her work. Her works often explore the conscious and the unconscious themes, and she creates by observing the subtle relationship between the potential of human unconscious states and established cognitive beliefs.
