ARTISTS / Yukari Akiyama 

Yukari Akiyama was born and grew up in Saitama Prefecture.

She is a Nerikomi artist.

She worked as a designer of car audio for many years.

Her Nerikomi moulds are made by using  3D CAD and printers.

She is exploring new Nerikomi techniques with them.

      

1969  Born in Saitama,Japan

1989  Shohoku College, Graduated from Department of Electronic Engineering.

      Joined a car audio manufacturer

2016  Began pottery.

2017  Began Nerikomi. Learn under Mr.Eiji Murofushi,famous Nerikomi Artist.

2018  Established "Nerikomi Studio UmeetE"(in Saitama)
